The challenge

Your agency works globally. Your clients pay through European banking.

A software project may start with a deposit and finish with a milestone invoice. A marketing engagement brings monthly retainers. A design assignment can involve several rounds of deliverables and approvals. Your European clients need invoices, bank details and references that fit their procurement process.

If your agency operates outside Europe and uses stablecoins for its international operations, collecting EUR and moving it through a separate exchange adds another task after every client payment. EurusPay connects the client's bank transfer with settlement to your company wallet.

The EurusPay approach

A European business IBAN for your agency's EUR invoices

Eligible agencies outside Europe can complete business verification (KYB), add a compatible company wallet and obtain European business payment details through EurusPay. Your agency remains the supplier named in the contract and on the invoice.

Your customer pays EUR by SEPA using the approved beneficiary name, IBAN and payment reference shown in your account. EurusPay processes the eligible payment, converts the amount and sends the resulting USDC or USDT to your configured wallet.

Use this flow for genuine project deposits, milestone invoices and recurring service fees. Your client does not need stablecoins, an exchange account or a wallet. See the European business IBAN for non-EU companies for account eligibility.

Example

Agency example: a €6,000 website project and a €1,500 monthly retainer

Illustrative scenario: a registered digital agency in South Africa agrees to redesign and develop a German retailer's website for €6,000. A separate ongoing engagement covers campaign design and marketing support for €1,500 per month. The agency wants client revenue paid to its USDC company wallet.

  1. Verify the agency before the first invoice. The authorised representative completes KYB with company, ownership and business-activity information, then configures the supported wallet and network.
  2. Invoice the €3,000 project deposit. The contract sets a 50% advance. The invoice names the German retailer, describes the project and includes the approved beneficiary details and payment reference.
  3. Receive the client's bank transfer. The retailer pays EUR from its business bank account. EurusPay processes the eligible payment, converts it and sends the resulting USDC to the agency's wallet.
  4. Invoice €3,000 after acceptance. Once the website is accepted, the agency issues the final project invoice with its corresponding payment instructions and keeps the acceptance record.
  5. Bill €1,500 for each service month. Each recurring invoice identifies the billing period and agreed services. The client pays by SEPA; the agency follows the payment-reference instructions for each invoice.
  6. Keep the records connected. The agency retains the contract, invoices, delivery evidence and payment records. It records the EUR amount, fees, conversion and stablecoin payout for its own reconciliation.

The €6,000 project is paid through two €3,000 invoices; the €1,500 retainer is billed separately each month. EUR invoice amounts are not equal to USDC token amounts: conversion rates and applicable fees determine the payout. Any subsequent payment to a subcontractor is arranged separately by the agency through its wallet or another provider.

Why it helps

One payment flow for projects and ongoing client work

  • Software agencies: receive deposits, development milestones and maintenance fees against the relevant scope of work.
  • Marketing agencies: collect recurring service retainers with clear billing periods and deliverables.
  • Design studios: connect brand, website and creative-project invoices with customer payments.
  • Familiar client onboarding: provide company payment details that the customer's finance team can use for SEPA.
  • Wallet settlement: choose supported USDC or USDT for your agency's configured company wallet.
  • Faster access: SEPA Instant typically takes about two minutes from sending to wallet arrival; standard SEPA typically takes about two minutes after receipt at the receiving bank.

Additional reviews or banking and network delays can extend processing. Learn about SEPA-to-wallet transfer times.

How it works

Set up your agency's European payment flow

  1. Create the business account for the legal entity that signs client contracts and issues invoices.
  2. Complete KYB and provide the requested company, representative and beneficial-owner information.
  3. Configure your payout with the available stablecoin, supported network and compatible company wallet.
  4. Share the approved payment details with the client's finance team and include the correct reference on each invoice.
  5. Receive EUR and settle to your wallet. Keep project milestones and monthly service invoices identifiable in your own records.
Before you start

KYB, client records and recurring payments

Availability depends on your agency's country, legal entity, ownership and activity. KYB may require incorporation and address documents, authorised representatives, beneficial owners and an explanation of the services and expected payment volumes.

For recurring engagements, retain the contract, billing period and evidence of the services delivered. Keep supporting records available; they do not need to be uploaded before every transfer. If someone other than the contracting client pays, be ready to explain the relationship. See the payment requirements and review guide.

Review fees and conversion details in your account. The client initiates each SEPA payment using the current invoice and payment details. Explore receiving third-party payments and using stablecoins for business expenses after payout.

Questions

European payments for agencies: FAQ

Can an agency outside Europe get a European business IBAN?

Eligible registered agencies can apply through EurusPay's business-account flow and complete KYB. Availability depends on the agency's country, legal entity, ownership and business activity. Use the approved beneficiary details shown in the account.

Can we receive project deposits and monthly retainers?

Yes, eligible agency payments can cover genuine deposits, project milestones and recurring service invoices. Describe what each invoice covers and follow the payment-reference instructions. Clients send the SEPA transfers; this does not imply automatic customer debits or subscription billing.

Does our European client need to pay in crypto?

No. The client pays the agency's EUR invoice by SEPA from its bank account. EurusPay processes and converts eligible incoming payments, then sends USDC or USDT to the agency's configured compatible wallet.

Can EurusPay pay our subcontractors automatically?

This flow covers receiving client EUR payments and settlement to your company wallet. The agency arranges later subcontractor payments separately through its wallet or a suitable provider, using supported assets and networks.
