Quick answer
Does EurusPay accept third-party payments?
Yes, EurusPay can process legitimate third-party business payments for eligible accounts, subject to review. You do not have to upload supporting documents before every transfer. If a payment is selected for review, EurusPay may ask for an invoice, contract, an explanation of the business relationship and payment purpose, or other supporting information. The transfer remains suspended while the review is open. If the payment cannot be sufficiently verified, it is not converted into stablecoins and is returned to the sending bank account.
What is a third-party payment?
A third-party payment is an incoming bank transfer sent by a person or company other than the verified EurusPay account holder. A normal example is a client paying an invoice issued by a freelancer or company. Other examples include a group company paying on behalf of the contracting entity, an agency settling a contractor invoice, or a payment platform remitting funds for an underlying customer.
Third-party does not mean prohibited. It means that EurusPay must be able to identify the sender, understand why the money is being paid and connect the transfer to a genuine commercial relationship.
Why third-party payments receive closer compliance review
EurusPay connects an incoming EUR bank transfer with a stablecoin payout. Once an approved amount is converted and sent to a blockchain wallet, the payout may be difficult or impossible to reverse. EurusPay therefore needs to establish the commercial purpose and parties before releasing a payment when risk indicators require additional checks.
A review may be triggered by the size or frequency of payments, a new or unexpected sender, a mismatch between sender and invoice, an unclear payment reference, activity outside the stated business profile, a bank recall, or a fraud report. A review does not by itself mean that the payment is illegitimate.
If both parties are located in the SEPA area, EurusPay may also ask why the recipient is using a fiat-to-stablecoin flow rather than keeping the payment as a conventional SEPA transfer. Give the real commercial reason, for example, settlement to a business wallet, stablecoin treasury management, or payments to international contractors. Never invent a justification.
Which documents may EurusPay request?
No single document guarantees approval, and the exact request depends on the transaction. In most business-payment reviews, the aim is to answer four questions: Who sent the money? Why was it sent? What is the relationship between sender and recipient? Is the amount consistent with the underlying business?
Core commercial evidence
- Invoice showing the correct customer, supplier, service, amount and currency
- Signed contract, statement of work, order form or engagement letter
- Purchase order, delivery confirmation, timesheet or other evidence of performance
- Payment reference that links the bank transfer to the invoice or request
Relationship and context
- Short description of your business and the nature of the transaction
- Explanation of how you know or work with the sender
- Reason another entity paid on behalf of the contractual customer
- Expected frequency, size and type of future third-party payments, if recurring
Additional evidence when requested
- Relevant correspondence or onboarding records identifying the customer
- Corporate-group or agency documents linking payer and customer
- Information supporting the source of funds
- Details needed to understand a recall, dispute or suspected-fraud report
Submit only authentic, unaltered documents that relate to the actual transaction. Names, dates, amounts and descriptions should be consistent across the invoice, contract, transfer and account profile. If you cannot provide a requested document, explain why and provide the closest reliable alternative instead of creating or changing evidence.
How to maximize the chance of a smooth review
The most effective way to reduce delays is to make the payment traceable from the outset. This does not require uploading documents in advance. It means keeping accurate records so they can be supplied promptly if EurusPay asks for them.
- Use the correct account type. The verified EurusPay account should match the freelancer or legal entity providing the service and receiving the payout.
- Create an accurate invoice. Name the real customer, describe the goods or services clearly and use the actual EUR amount and payment terms.
- Ask the correct party to pay. The sender should normally be the customer named on the invoice. If an affiliate, director, platform or other party will pay, document why.
- Use the exact payment details. The customer should enter the beneficiary details and payment reference shown in EurusPay without shortening or changing them.
- Keep the supporting agreement. Retain the contract, order, correspondence and evidence that the work or delivery took place.
- Keep your business profile current. Actual payment sizes, payer countries and business activity should be consistent with the information provided during KYC or KYB.
- Answer requests completely. Address every question, attach readable documents and explain any mismatch directly.
- Describe recurring flows. If you expect sizeable or repeated third-party payments, explain the payer types, expected values, frequency and commercial purpose when asked.
What happens when a third-party payment is reviewed?
- The EUR transfer arrives.
EurusPay attempts to match the sender, amount and reference with the account and payment request.
- The transaction is suspended if more information is required.
No stablecoin payout is released while the review remains open.
- EurusPay requests specific information.
The request may cover the invoice, contract, business activity, relationship with the sender, purpose of payment, expected future transfers or source of funds.
- You submit the requested evidence.
Documents are assessed for authenticity, completeness and consistency with the transfer and verified account.
- EurusPay decides whether the payment can be processed.
If the transaction is sufficiently understood and approved, the EUR amount can proceed to conversion and payout in the selected supported stablecoin and network.
- Unverified payments are returned.
If the information is missing, contradictory or insufficient, the payment is not converted or paid to the wallet. It is returned to the originating bank account. Return timing depends on the banks and payment rail involved.
What happens after a fraud recall?
If a sending bank recalls a transfer using a fraud reason, EurusPay must investigate urgently. The user may be asked for the source of funds, transaction purpose, invoice, contract, communications, delivery evidence and any other information that explains the payment and the relationship with the sender.
A bank recall does not automatically establish wrongdoing, but it materially increases the risk of the transaction. EurusPay may suspend processing, restrict related activity or take other measures while the case is assessed. Fast, complete and truthful cooperation is essential.
How the EurusPay invoice generator helps
The integrated invoice generator creates a structured record connecting the parties and the payment. It can record the supplier, customer, service description, amount in EUR, invoice date, due date and payment reference. This makes it easier to show why a specific sender transferred a specific amount.
Using the generator does not guarantee that a payment will be approved, and it does not replace every other document. For higher-risk or unusual payments, EurusPay may still request a contract, proof of delivery, an explanation of the sender relationship or source-of-funds information. The invoice is most useful when its information is accurate and matches the actual bank transfer.

Frequently asked questions about third-party payments
Do I need to submit documents before every third-party payment?
No. Supporting documents do not have to be uploaded before every transfer. Keep them available and submit them if EurusPay requests them for a transaction review.
Are third-party payments allowed by EurusPay?
Legitimate third-party business payments can be processed for eligible accounts, subject to transaction review. Approval is case-specific and depends on whether the sender, relationship, purpose and source of funds can be sufficiently understood.
What is the most important document for a client payment?
A correct invoice is usually the starting point because it identifies the parties, service, amount and payment purpose. A contract, order or delivery evidence may also be required, especially for large, unusual or recurring payments.
What if the sender is not the customer named on the invoice?
Explain why the sender paid on the customer's behalf and provide evidence linking both parties—for example, an agency agreement, group-company relationship, platform settlement statement or written payment authorization.
Why may EurusPay ask why I did not use a normal SEPA transfer?
If both parties are in the SEPA area, compliance may need to understand the legitimate reason for converting the received EUR into stablecoins. State the real business reason, such as settlement to a business wallet or international treasury needs.
What happens if I do not provide sufficient information?
The payment remains suspended and no stablecoin payout is released. If EurusPay cannot complete the review, the EUR payment is rejected and returned to the originating bank account.
Does an invoice generated by EurusPay guarantee payment approval?
No. The invoice generator helps demonstrate the relationship and purpose, but each transfer remains subject to eligibility and compliance review. Additional documents may still be requested.
Keep genuine payment evidence ready—not pre-uploaded
You do not need to send compliance documents before every client transfer. Create accurate invoices, retain the supporting business records and respond promptly if a review is opened. Clear evidence protects both legitimate users and the payment system while helping eligible payments move to stablecoin settlement.
