The challenge

Your customers use bank transfers. You want stablecoins.

Your European client is ready to pay, but their finance team works with EUR invoices and bank transfers. Asking them to buy USDC or USDT, create a wallet and choose a blockchain adds friction to an otherwise ordinary business payment.

You need a way to accept money from the people and companies you work with and receive the resulting value in your wallet. EurusPay connects that familiar SEPA payment with automatic stablecoin settlement.

The EurusPay approach

Accept customer payments from third-party bank accounts

A third-party payment is a bank transfer from someone other than the verified EurusPay account holder. A client paying your invoice from their own account is a normal example: you are the recipient, and your client is the sender.

EurusPay supports legitimate third-party business payments for eligible accounts. Share your approved beneficiary details, European IBAN and payment reference. The client sends EUR by SEPA; EurusPay processes the incoming payment and converts the eligible amount into your selected USDC or USDT for payout to your configured wallet.

When the sender is different from the customer named on the invoice, such as a group company paying on the customer's behalf, the relationship must be explainable and supported by appropriate records. For the detailed process, read the third-party payment requirements and review guide.

Example

One familiar EUR payment, one stablecoin payout

A freelance developer in Serbia invoices a French agency for a completed project. The invoice includes the beneficiary name, IBAN and reference displayed in the developer's EurusPay account.

The agency pays EUR from its own business bank account. This is a third-party payment because the agency and the EurusPay account holder are different parties. The agency does not need to hold crypto or open a wallet.

EurusPay processes the eligible payment, converts it and sends the resulting USDC or USDT to the developer's configured compatible wallet. The invoice, sender and payment reference connect the bank transfer with the work delivered. This example is illustrative; account and payment eligibility still apply.

Why it helps

Built around how your clients already pay

  • Customers pay from their own accounts: accept eligible commercial payments directly from the client or business partner.
  • Keep invoicing in EUR: use familiar bank details and payment references for European customers.
  • Choose USDC or USDT: receive the supported stablecoin that fits your wallet and business needs.
  • Automatic conversion and payout: avoid a separate manual exchange deposit and withdrawal workflow.
  • For freelancers and companies: use the account type that matches the individual or entity receiving the income.
  • Fast wallet access: SEPA Instant typically takes about two minutes from sending to wallet arrival. Standard SEPA typically takes about two minutes after receipt at the receiving bank.

Additional reviews or banking and network delays can extend processing. See how SEPA-to-wallet transfer times work.

How it works

How to receive third-party payments with EurusPay

  1. Set up your account. Complete identity verification or business verification for the person or company receiving the payment.
  2. Connect your wallet. Select USDC or USDT and a network supported by EurusPay and your destination wallet.
  3. Prepare the payment request. Create a EUR invoice where appropriate and share the exact beneficiary name, IBAN and reference shown in your account.
  4. Your customer sends EUR. They pay by SEPA from their own bank account, using the supplied details.
  5. Receive your stablecoins. EurusPay processes the incoming payment, converts the eligible amount and pays out to your configured wallet. If further information is needed, respond to the specific request.
Before you start

What you need before accepting client payments

Your account, country and business activity must be supported, and your wallet must accept the selected token and network. Review the fees and conversion information available for your account.

Keep accurate records of the payment purpose and your relationship with the sender. Supporting documents are not required before every transfer; provide them when requested. A payment under review remains suspended until it can be processed. If it cannot be sufficiently verified, it is returned to the sending bank account.

Questions

Third-party payments: common questions

Can customers pay from bank accounts in their own names?

Yes. EurusPay supports eligible third-party business payments. A customer can send EUR from their own bank account to the beneficiary details and IBAN provided for your EurusPay account. The payment must have a legitimate, explainable purpose and remains subject to applicable checks.

Does the customer pay in USDC or USDT?

No. The customer pays EUR by SEPA. EurusPay converts the eligible incoming EUR payment and sends the resulting USDC or USDT to your configured compatible wallet. The customer does not need crypto or a wallet.

Do I have to upload documents before every customer payment?

No. Keep records such as invoices, agreements and relevant customer information available. If a payment is selected for review, EurusPay will request the information needed to understand the sender, purpose and business relationship.

Can a different company pay on my customer's behalf?

Such a payment may be eligible, but the relationship between the sender and your customer must be clear and documented. Explain why the names differ and supply supporting information if requested. Acceptance depends on the account and the individual payment.
