The challenge

An EUR receiving account and a stablecoin wallet solve different steps

When a European client asks for bank details, the receiving account is only the beginning. Your decision also depends on where the proceeds need to end up, how much control you want over conversion and which features are enabled for your business.

Editorial note: published by EurusPay; official sources reviewed on 8 September 2026. The suitability assessments are our interpretation. This comparison includes Payoneer's evolving stablecoin offering and does not assume it is available to every account.

The EurusPay approach

Payment flow and payout: compare the actual route

Receiving an EUR invoice

EurusPay: the client pays EUR by SEPA; eligible funds are converted and sent to your configured USDC or USDT wallet. EurusPay payment flow.

Payoneer: EUR receiving details accept client bank transfers into a balance, with holding, conversion and bank withdrawal options. Its receiving-account FAQ says auto-conversion is not supported. Payoneer receiving accounts.

Stablecoin payout

EurusPay: the client can remain on the EUR bank-transfer route while you receive stablecoins.

Payoneer / Bridge: a separate wallet supports USDC/USDT with phased availability. Documented funding is incoming stablecoin; confirm whether EUR-balance funding is enabled for your account. Fees appear before confirmation. Stablecoin product and FAQ.

Example

Example: a European client pays a €3,000 agency invoice

Illustrative scenario: a marketing agency outside Europe invoices a French client €3,000 for campaign work. The client wants to pay from its bank account. The agency needs USDT for a supplier.

  1. With EurusPay, the verified agency supplies the approved EUR payment details and configures its compatible wallet. The client's eligible SEPA payment is processed, converted and paid out in stablecoins.
  2. When assessing Payoneer, ask for the complete path from this particular EUR receipt to the supplier's required asset and network. Verify access to every step before promising a payout date.
  3. Compare the final result: the net amount reaching the supplier's required destination after all conversions and payouts, plus any fixed account charges.

For EurusPay, €3,000 × 2.49% = €74.70 on Starter; €3,000 × 1.96% = €58.80 on Professional, plus €9/month. These calculations cover published plan fees, not a guaranteed USDT quote. EUR 3,000 is not USDT 3,000. EurusPay plans.

Why it helps

Fees: avoid comparing only the first step

EurusPay: Starter €0/month + 2.49%; Professional €9/month + 1.96% per incoming payment; Enterprise custom. Check account-specific terms and the conversion and payout details. EurusPay pricing.

Payoneer: local-currency receiving accounts: free; non-local currency: 1%, minimum US$1 equivalent. Listed bank-withdrawal routes include 1.2–4%, with exceptions. An annual account fee may apply. Rates depend on region, route and account. Current fee schedule and conditions.

Record the applicable receiving charge, exchange rate, conversion cost, payout fee and fixed charges for your own account. A headline receipt percentage alone cannot establish which provider is cheaper for the complete EUR-to-wallet journey.

How it works

Which provider should you consider?

  • Consider EurusPay for direct client invoices where the payer uses EUR bank transfers and your required destination is USDC or USDT.
  • Consider Payoneer if managing marketplace and client income alongside broader business payment tools is central to your workflow. Payoneer platform.
  • If stablecoin support drives the choice, check the exact account, funding currency, token, network and payout route. A feature name alone does not establish that the full journey works for you.

Before you start
