You can send USDC, USDT and supported token variants from your thirdweb wallet to another wallet or exchange that accepts the exact same token on the same blockchain network. This guide covers native stablecoins and supported cross-chain representations, such as USDC.e or USDT0. Check the actual token and network shown for your EurusPay payout; availability depends on your account and payout options.
Check the exact token variant
Native stablecoins and cross-chain representations are not automatically interchangeable. USDC and USDC.e are separate tokens; USDT and USDT0 can also have different token identifiers depending on the network. A similar name or value does not guarantee that your destination accepts that variant. If the destination does not support the exact token you hold, use a supported conversion or bridging process before depositing.
Which token pays the network fee?
The fee currency depends on the blockchain. These are examples, not a list of networks offered by EurusPay. Use only a token and network combination available in your account and supported by your destination.
| Network examples | Fee token on that network |
|---|---|
| Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum One, OP Mainnet | ETH |
| Polygon PoS | POL |
| BNB Smart Chain | BNB |
| Avalanche C-Chain | AVAX |
| Solana | SOL |
The network matters even when the fee token has the same name. For example, ETH on Ethereum cannot pay the fee for stablecoins on Base or Arbitrum. A standard transfer needs ETH on the network you are sending from.
How to transfer your stablecoins
- Open the wallet holding your payout. Sign in to EurusPay using your usual method and open your existing thirdweb wallet. Select the network used for the completed payout and check the wallet address. A newly created wallet will not contain the balance in your original wallet.
- Check the destination. In the receiving wallet or exchange, choose the exact stablecoin or variant you hold and the exact same network. Copy the deposit address and check the minimum deposit and any additional instructions. Check the token contract address or mint identifier against the destination’s supported token details where provided. A matching name, symbol or wallet address alone does not confirm compatibility.
- Review the network fee. Start the transfer and check the estimated fee, its currency and who pays it. If your wallet must pay and the fee-token balance is insufficient, top it up as explained below.
- Enter the details. Select the exact stablecoin or token variant on the correct network, paste the receiving address and enter the amount. Button names may vary with the wallet interface.
- Review and confirm. Check the complete address, token, network, amount and fee. For a new destination, consider a small test that meets any deposit minimum before sending the rest.
- Track the transaction. Save the transaction hash and view it in the explorer for that network using the wallet’s transaction link. A receiving exchange may need more confirmations before crediting the deposit.
How to top up for network fees
In the wallet holding your stablecoins, select the payout network and copy that wallet’s receiving address for the native fee token. From another wallet or an exchange, withdraw the correct fee token on that exact network to the copied address. Check the fee estimate and any withdrawal minimum before choosing the amount. When the funds arrive, retry your stablecoin transfer.
Adding more stablecoins does not normally fix a missing-native-token error. A wrapped version of the fee token may not work either: for example, WETH does not replace native ETH for standard gas payments. Use the native balance shown for network fees. Fees vary, so there is no fixed top-up amount that guarantees every future transfer.
Common transfer problems
“Insufficient gas” or “Insufficient funds”
Check your stablecoins amount and fee-token balance separately. Confirm that the top-up reached the sending wallet on the correct network. If fees are shown as sponsored but the transfer fails, contact support with the exact error.
I cannot see my balance
Check the selected network, original login method and wallet address against the completed payout. A balance on another network will not automatically appear on the selected one.
The transaction succeeded, but the deposit is missing
Use the correct network explorer to verify the recipient, token and amount. Compare them with the destination’s deposit instructions. If the transaction succeeded onchain, contact the receiving service with the transaction hash.
